The Most Beautiful Beaches in the World Part 2!

The world is a big place with plenty of coastline, which means plenty of beaches. So that’s why we have decided to do another post on the world’s most beautiful beaches right here.

1. Chia Beach, Sardinia

Chia Beach, Sardinia

The autonomous Italian island of Sardinia is nestled safely in the warmth of the Mediterranean Sea to the west of Italy. With nearly 2000km of beaches, the gorgeous Chia beach in the south of the island really stands out. With 5 crescent strips of tempting white sand and protective sand dunes, it is a peaceful and beautiful spot to enjoy some sun, sea and sand.

2. Llandudno Beach, South Africa

Llandudno Beach, South Africa

It is on the western cape of South Africa that you will find the stunning Llandudno Beach. Surrounded by granite boulders, and overlooked by imposing mountains, this beach is noted as one the Cape’s most beautiful. The water can be a little cold, but nevertheless it is a popular surfing spot among locals and visitors.

3. Playa Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica

Playa Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica

The Central American country of Costa Rica has coasts on both the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean and boasts some fantastic beaches, including the Playa Manuel Antonio in the south-west of the country. Located in the Manuel Antonio National Park, the beach is in a deep and sheltered bay backed by green and lush rainforest vegetation and is a great swimming spot too.

4. Sand Beach, ME USA

Sand Beach, ME USA

It’s usually California that automatically springs to mind when one thinks of American beaches, but the beautiful state of Maine on the north-east coast of the country has many stunning beaches too, such as Sand Beach. This beach can be found in a cove between craggy cliff faces and is particularly beautiful thanks to its pink sand made up of billions of crushed shell fragments.

5. Black Sand Beach, Iceland

Black Sand Beach, Iceland

Located in the southernmost point of Iceland, and looking out to the treacherous North Atlantic, Black Sand Beach is a truly stunning place to behold. With mountains looking down on this impressive beach, it lies directly under a glacier which also happens to be on top of a volcano. It is thanks to the volcanic rock and ash (the volcano last erupted in 1918 but word has it that it is brewing another), that the beach has its incredible black sand.

6. Palolem Beach, India

Palolem Beach, India

The vast country of India has of course many beaches, but Palolem Beach in Goa in the south-west of the country is arguably one of the most beautiful. Enclosed by thick and lush coconut groves, this long crescent shaped beach attracts people from all over the world. With soft sand and stunning views out onto the Arabian Sea, it is obvious why it has gained its reputation for beauty.
